John Henry: Non-Executive Director

Mr John Henry is Vice Chair to the Trust. He was a non-executive director with East Gloucestershire NHS Trust from November 2000 until April 2002. He is a former Whitehall civil servant and held a number of senior positions within Government departments. He was appointed Senior Independent Director in March 2007.

Wallace Dobbin: Non Executive Director

A qualified barrister who has previously worked for BAT Financial Services and Zurich, and is now a Director of a local financial services distribution business as well as a non executive Director of the Pioneer Friendly Society. He is also a trustee of the Sir Steve Redgrave Charitable Trust and the Peter Lang Trust for Children.

Mike Evans: Non-Executive Director

Mike Evans, 56, has lived in Gloucestershire all of his life and has a wealth of experience in both the public and private sectors. He worked for more than five years as a Non-Executive Director with 2gether Foundation NHS Trust (formerly Gloucestershire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust), is a qualified accountant and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Mr Evans began his career in local government and moved on to become a Finance Director in the Eagle Star Group and then the British American Financial Services Group. In recent years he has worked as a Management Consultant undertaking a wide range of assignments in both the private and public sectors.

Gordon Mitchell: Non-Executive Director

Gordon Mitchell currently works with organisations and leadership teams to support them in facing their challenges or development. He has previously held roles as Chief Executive of two large local authorities, spent some time in central government and, prior to that, senior roles in a number of national voluntary organisations dealing with policy development and campaigning. He also holds a number of non-executive roles in education, arts and social justice.

Museji Takolia: Non-Executive Director

Museji Ahmed Takolia has a wealth of experience in health regulation, community development, education and both local and central government. A graduate of Cambridge and Bristol Universities as well as the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton, in the US, Mr Takolia is an active non-executive director of a number of other organisations, but this is his first major non-executive role within his home county of Gloucestershire.

Maria Bond: Non-Executive Director

Maria Bond, 39, from Stroud has lived in Gloucestershire all her life.  She is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, a mother of three young children and has a wealth of experience gained working in Construction Plc organisations.

Maria began her career in a local construction company and moved on to become a Project Director at Bluestone and then a Commercial Director and Area Director at Rok Plc.  She has most recently been involved in the acquisition and integration of companies acquired by Rok Plc.
