Public and Patient Involvement

Surveys

Improving the experience of each individual patient is at the centre of the NHS Plan reforms. Obtaining feedback from patients and taking account of their views and priorities are vital for the delivery of the plan and for driving real service improvements year on year.

One method of obtaining patient feedback is to undertake patient satisfaction surveys. All satisfaction surveys within Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (GHNHSFT) must be approved by the Patient & Public Involvement (PPI) Department. The surveys vary in content and size; from local surveys of specific clinics (50-200 people) to large scale national surveys (usually at least 859 people) that covers all different area of the Trust.

Staff surveys must also be approved before they are carried out.

This section contains reports on a variety of surveys carried out within the Trust, including local and national patient surveys and staff surveys. Further information about these surveys is available from the PPI department by request. The section will also provide a link to the Survey Policy which must be adhered to when carrying out a survey. This policy is currently in the process of being approved.

Please note that surveys and reports completed earlier than two years ago may be listed in the archive section.
