Summary Report  for Period 01/01/2006 to 31/12/2006

In the first year of the implementation of the Freedom of Information Act the Trust received a total of 161 written requests that were recorded as requests for information by the Trust FOI lead and Service/Department FOI leads.

The requests were received by the following methods:

• Request form via the Trust Publication Scheme
• By Post
• By Email
• By Phone: (and ultimately converted into written requests)

The Trust acts with openness in accordance with the Act however in some instances Exemptions were applied and for the following reasons:

• The information was already publicly available (Section 21) : 1
• Investigations and proceedings (Section 30) : 1
• Personal information (Section 40) : 1
