Class 14. Environmental Information
Class Description: Our estate and land holdings and the uses they currently enjoy. Information required to be placed in the public domain as a result of the Environmental Enforcement action and associated information (see also Introduction to Publication Scheme ).
This Trust is committed to the effective management of environmental issues and is required to have an effective policy and whole life strategy for environmental management. The Trust Corporate Citizen group has responsibility for management of the environment associated with energy, water, waste, transport, catering and procurement strategies allied to the environmental agenda of preventing waste and recycling.
The Trust aims to increase access and openness to information, while having regard to the environmental impact and minimising waste.

The Trust Environmental Strategy incorporates energy, waste,
sustainability, transport, catering, and procurement policies.
This strategy will be presented to the Corporate Citizenship
Group during 2006 for approval and recommendation to the Trust
Board.
*The Estates Strategy has to integrate into a number of other
plans taking account of a wide range of internal and external documents.
The Trust Service Strategy is not yet finalised and there will need
to be a period of consultation about any service reconfiguration
issues before any firm proposals can be tabled.
The Trust Site Development Control Plan for the period 2005 – 2012,
Estates Strategy and Green Transport Plan have been developed and
will be subject to Trust Board approval during 2006.
The Property and Medical Engineering intranet site provides a schedule
of Trust owned and leased sites.
