I am a member of the Governance & Nominations Committee and have attended Audit Committee meetings to participate in strategic, operational and financial debates and decision making. I am passionate to demonstrate that the role of Governor adds value to the Trust and thoroughly enjoy working with such a committeed group of volunteers and professionals. I will continue to offer my skills and expertise - in communications and management - to represent your views, preferences and priorities so that we can build an excellent healthcare service for our families.

My position as the Company Secretary and trustee director of Gloucestershire Association for Disabilities Funding Trust and my own personal circumstances have given me an insight into the need for an effective Health Service. Since the 1970s I have been involved in disability issues in particular. My involvement in the voluntary sector encouraged me to develop my skills as a communicator and to learn to see the bigger picture including the needs of both the service provider and the user.
