Mr. Jeremy Field

Image: Mr. Jeremy Field Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedics
MB BS BSc ChM FRCS(Ed) FRCS(Eng) FRCS(Orth)
Qualified London, 1983

I have now been in a Consultant post for nine years and I have brought the speciality of Hand Surgery to the area. Before I came here there were no Hand Physiotherapists or Hand Occupational Therapists. These are now provided in all Gloucestershire Hospital Trust peripheral hospitals and the two main Trust hospitals.

I have a regular research interest producing on average a paper in a peer review journal per year. It is because of my interest in research that I sit on the Ethics Committee.

I examine on the Board of the FRCS Orth Exam twice a year. I teach on International 'AO' Orthopaedic Courses both on General Orthopaedics and Hand Surgery.
