Services Provided
The Breast Surgery Department offers a Countywide service to the people of Gloucestershire. The 5 Consultants are all supported by a dedicated team of pathologists, radiologists, oncologists, breast care nurses and radiotherapists who all aim to provide the best treatment for each patient.
The aim of the department is to provide an efficient, friendly and high quality service for all our patients. We strive to ensure that patients are well informed and reassured about their treatment.
Clinical breast care nurse specialists work within the unit and are available to provide information, practical help, emotional support and a continuity of care for breast patients.
Information leaflets are available for many of the conditions seen in the department and we encourage patients to ask questions in order to understand their treatment fully.
