Neurology

Introduction

Neurology is the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the nervous system, such as headaches, epilepsy, numbness, Parkinson's disease, loss of movement or memory. Neurologists diagnose and treat impaired function of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, muscles and autonomic nervous system, as well as the blood vessels that relate to these parts of the body.

• Epilepsy Service
• Movement Disorder Service
• White Matter Service
• Suspected Neurological Cancer Service

Please Note: Not all Services are provided at every Location.

Our Staff

There are 4 Neurologists who each lead a team of specialist doctors and nurses. As a patient you may be seen by the clinician or by a doctor or nurse within their team. The clinician has overall responsibilty for your care.

In addition to the two main Hospitals, the Neurology Consultants also hold Outpatient Clinics at Delancey Hospital.

Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

Outpatient Clinics take place in the General Outpatients Department.


Delancey Hospital
